About 151FAB
Whether you have stumble across this site by accident, been referred to us by one of our
customers, or found us through the forums we frequent, welcome to 151 Fabrication Co.
First of all, we like to use the shorthand version of our name: 151FAB. Its easy to say, type,
spell, and if you add a WWW to the front and a COM the rear you get to our website.
We are a fabrication and CNC machine services business located in the city of Corona, right
in the middle of Southern California. Our specialty is motorsports fabrication. We realize this
term refers to a expansive and diverse sport and our field of experience, past and present
projects, and contacts within this large community, are equally expansive and diverse.
The majority of the work and most of the contact you will have with 151FAB will be through
myself, Todd Durdella. I occasionally have others work for me and when I need work done
that is outside of my scope or in a large quantity I will use outside vendors or I'll bring in
specialists. I have a wonderful family that also assists me, especially my wife, Mychele, who
is so much better at scheduling and paperwork than I would ever hope to be. So when I refer
to 151FAB as: us, we, our, etc; I am referring to all those that help this humble fabricator /
machinist keep you, the customer, happy.
My name is Todd Durdella and I opened this business reluctantly because even though all
those who know me have complete confidence that a fabrication shop owned and run by
myself would be a huge success, I've always been partial to working meticulously on projects
owned by myself and my closest friends as a hobby. As my friends spread the word about my
abilities I began to do work for more and more "strangers". I soon realized that I had a
business whether I was ready for it or not. More importantly, I realized that, because I make
sure to inform and involve the customer in all aspects of the build process; through the
constant conversation with my customers I was making new friends too. By the end of the
build I was no longer working for a stranger I was working on a friends project.
I have over 15 years of experience as a machinist and I am proud to be a part of the skilled
and storied workforce that is the American Machinist. I started out in the machining field
sweeping floors and cleaning machines right out of high school while I attended classes to
become a Journeyman Mold Maker. I proceeded to work my way through the ranks and
became the foreman of a Tool and Die shop that had 13 employees. As I proceeded through
my career as a machinist I also began building my skills as a fabricator. Over the past 12
years I have used my fabrication skills to build prerunners, rock crawlers, lifted show trucks,
and all kinds of other toys. I also owned and operated a company that built apparatuses for
cellular sites and microwave repeater sites. I now make a living as a Tool and Die machinist
and as the owner / operator of 151 Fabrication Co.
I look forward to hearing from you, working for you, and being counted as one of your friends.
